In fact, I don't even examine myself. 4 For my conscience is clear, ^{▼▼Lit. I don't know of anything against myself} but that does not vindicate me. It is the Lord who examines me.Job 9:2; Ps 130:3; 143:2; Prov 21:2; Rom 3:20; 4:2 5 Therefore, stop judging before the proper time, before the Lord comes, for he will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the motives of our hearts. 9 For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession, like men condemned to death. We are weak, but you are strong. When insulted, we bless. 14 Fatherly AdviceI'm not writing this to make you feel ashamed, but to warn you as my dear children.1Thes 2:11 15 You may have 10,000 guardians in Christ, but not many fathers.
